CCTV Cameras are the basic need in everywhere, if you own a office or you are at home. the fear of theft is always there and CCTV cameras play important role in minimizing these suspicious activities. But if you are not reachable to your dvr and monitor then how can you access the footage of your dvr recording. In this article, I will explain you about Hikvision DVR Remote access technique.
Basic Requirements
1. Hikvision DVR with ethernet port
2. Wifi Internet Connection with Modem
3. Lan Wire
4. Andriod mobile/ PC
Step by Step Procedure
1. First you have to connect your DVR to your Wifi modem with the help of Ethernet Wire and then open your browser in your PC and search for your router IP address in the chrome browser. In the default scenario, your Modem IP may be 192.168.1.1. It can be different so please check your router IP on your Router Box.
2. Then after logging into your router os, search for DMZ and make it on if it is turned off. The image is showing you the example, setting may be different for different modems.

3. After this step, open an account on Hik-Connect by just installing the app of Hik-Connect from the google play store. It will ask you to sign up with email or mobile number. After making the ID, it will ask you to enter your Hikvision DVR serial number just enter the serial number and now you can see your camera live stream into your mobile phone.
4. If there is any problem in streaming or it is showing that the stream is encrypted then just enter the verification code provided on the DVR on the app and you can start live stream.
5. But this Hik-Connect app helps you in viewing the live stream from your home wifi only in your house periphery but if you want to view live stream from anywhere, you have to install another application from google playstore which is IVMS 4500.

6. After this installtion, just enter your hik-connect ID and password here and start live stream. Now you can see live stream from your mobile network also. Do not disconnect your Wifi connection with your DVR for uninterrupted streaming.
